Hardwood Installation & Refinishing

Solid and engineered hardwood installation plus full sand-and-refinish service to bring existing floors back to life.

Overview

We install solid and engineered hardwood — nail-down, glue-down, or floating — and finish it in place for a seamless, board-to-board look. On refinishing jobs we take worn, painted, or damaged floors down to raw wood with dust-contained sanding, repair and weave in boards where needed, then apply stain and modern waterborne or oil-based finishes that cure fast and wear hard.

Our Process

Installation & Refinishing, Step by Step

1

Evaluate & Prep

Moisture readings, subfloor flatness checks, and full protection of walls, trim, and adjacent rooms before any work starts.

2

Install or Strip

New solid and engineered hardwood goes down nail-down, glue-down, or floating. Refinishing jobs get taken to raw wood with dust-contained sanding.

3

Repair & Weave

Damaged, water-stained, or missing boards are replaced and woven into the existing field so repairs disappear into the floor.

4

Sand & Sample

Multi-grit sanding and edging leaves a flat, uniform surface. We lay stain samples directly on your floor so you approve the color in your own light.

5

Stain & Finish

Stain, then multiple coats of waterborne or oil-based finish in matte, satin, or gloss — cured hard and ready for traffic fast.
